Hilye-yi Hakanî. [between 17--? and 18--?]

Hakanî Mehmet Bey's hilye, a poem in praise of the Prophet Muhammad, describing his personal appearance and character. The poem was composed in 1007 (1598-99). The work ends on fol. 26a, and is then followed by another work of poetry of a similar character on fol. 27b-54b. Although on different paper, text 2 is written in the same hand and style as text 1. Text 2 is incomplete, as explained by the scribe's note to that effect at the end of page on fol. 54b.
